INTELWIRE on Twitter, Facebook

Intelwire is now featured on Twitter and Facebook. The exact configuration of the content is a work in progress, but the links will remain the same:

On Twitter

Interesting news developments with links, plus short notes and analysis when I have something to say but not enough time to write a long piece.

On Facebook

The document feed is going through this page for the moment. So where there's a new document posted on INTELFILES/INTELWIRE you can get notified. I am adding the occasional news and notes as well, and you can discuss and/or communicate with me through the page.

INTELWIRE posts new OKBOMB documents

A dozen or more surveillance videotapes showing the Oklahoma City bombing may soon be released under the Freedom of Information Act. The videotapes are described in documents released to Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue, who is also seeking the tapes themselves. The actual tapes "are due any day," Trentadue said Thursday.

    Welcome aboard

I just wanted to welcome everyone to the new site. Some of you may have followed my work on Intelwire or Egoplex; others may have come across the site while looking for a freelance writer or television pro.

This blog space will evolve over time, but I expect to use this platform to comment on media issues, including Old/New Media transformation and the fate of the newspaper industry, interesting things being done around the media industry, and updates on projects we have in the hopper here at MMG.

    More to come!

    HOW IT WORKS

The Multifaceted Media Group is a full-service media and information consortium, providing a broad menu of information-related services. Our company is a hybrid structure, combining full-time staff and formal relationships with freelance professionals to provide customers with tremendous flexibility in designing and booking projects.

Multifaceted Media offers two ways to build a job:

    Contract Directly

If you have a simple job and want to keep your overhead low, you can negotiate directly with our affiliated freelance members. Multifaceted Media provides some basic administrative and technical support in exchange for a modest booking fee, but your primary business relationship will be with the freelancer you select.

    Managed Projects

When you have a complicated job requiring multiple people and skill sets acting in a coordinated manner, you can hire the company instead of searching for individuals. We'll assemble and manage a team for you -- selecting the best fit from our in-house and freelance talent, with project management in-house.
